Collages
These started as a way of emulating Max Ernst's collage technique and Andre Masson's auto-matic drawing during my 1st year of university. They offered something that was new to me, as they seemed effortless.I work with older images that interest me for the purpose of turning it into something that will take on another nature, unique to itself.
They have no real meaning at all. I use older imagery to remove any trace of modernity. The automatic drawing element further removes the image from reality. They are titled for the sake of it. They are more about the chance elements involved in the process than anything else.

The pieces titled "Sheer Terror" are adult in nature. These are about as extreme as these pieces can get, thus the 10 of them. I felt the need to push these as far as they can go. You have been warned.
